I'm Amber.
I'm an ocean loving, sun soaking,
culture seeking, researching, plan-every-detail-to-a-tee-and-still-have-plan-b
traveler.
I'm a native Floridian, so I live for
salty air and sand beneath my feet. I also love deep-cultured history and
exploring the unbeaten paths that travelers often miss... the cypress swamps
and spanish moss hanging off of oak trees so big you can't wrap your arms
around them.
I didn't travel much growing up, but
there was always an adventure waiting for me outside. Climbing trees and
exploring trails in the woods were some of my favorite pastimes when we weren't
out on the water imagining what was swimming beneath our little boat.
That childhood translated to a love for
travel as an adult. My first big road-trip to Virginia during high school
sparked that flame. My friend and I experienced mountains and snow and miles of
highway together. When Daniel and I began dating, he bought my first plane
ticket so I could visit him during the summer and it was on our Jamaican
honeymoon, three years later, that I decided we needed to travel more often!
I'm definitely the nerd behind our
travels. I love planning itineraries and creating budgets for our trips. I've
been known to 'pack my bags' months in advance just to make sure everything
will fit. Yeah, I know, that's a bit obsessive, but I just get so [freakin]
excited! When our travel date finally arrives, I have the peace of mind to
enjoy every moment, because I know everything is planned out and ready.
We want you to be able to experience
that same peace of mind. After all, the only reason people dislike travelling
is because it's 'too much work'. So, we've already done the leg work.
Let us help you plan your dream trip!
I’m Daniel.
I love the outdoors and am always up for
an adventure. I’m also from Florida and love anything that has to do with
the beach which has been a big factor in my travels.
My love for traveling first began in high
school when I went on my first mission trip with my Dad and few friends to an
orphanage in Honduras. That experience was an eye opener, and made me want to
get outside of my normal bubble and explore as much as possible. That led to a
couple more mission trips back to the orphanage, and I was hooked.
In college I had a tight knit group of
friends that shared my love for adventure which flourished into several cruises with the group, going anywhere
from the Virgin Islands, to the Bahamas, and over to Mexico.
Upon getting married to my lovely wife, we
traveled to Jamaica for our honeymoon. This place is truly a gem and
would recommend everybody to visit there at least once. Jamaica combined our
love for the beach with numerous adventures and exploring.
My wife and I were fortunate enough to be
able to travel around the United States a bit as well. We’ve been up to the
countryside of Wisconsin, went to the top of the Willis Tower in Chicago, from
the mountains to the beach in the Carolinas, Texas, good ol' Disney World, and
we now live in Tennessee.
But enough about us, we’re here to help
YOU get YOUR travel on!! Whether you’re exploring around the
country/state you’re living in, or planning a trip across the big ocean, the
most important part is that you’re doing it! Regardless of the destination you’re
going, just remember that the time you’re spending with your travel partner (or
to yourself if traveling alone), and your experiences along the way are what
makes your trip so memorable. So don’t travel to another city just to sit in
your hotel room and watch television, take the opportunity and go exploring,
meet new people!
